In Barcelona, we run three different adult tennis camps: full week tennis camps, 5-day tennis training only camp, long weekend tennis camps. Players of all levels are welcome to join as there are groups for beginners / intermediate and intermediate / advanced. The best way to sign up for these classes is to send us a booking enquiry.

Our weekly adult tennis camps run from Sunday to Saturday. A camp program includes:

– Welcome Day with drinks, tapas and social game. This is on Sunday, the first day of the camp when we get to know each other.
– 5 days of group tennis coaching, 3 hours every day in the morning 9:00-12.00 (total 15 hours):

– our groups are limited to 4 players per court
– there are two levels: beginners/intermediate and intermediate/advanced groups
– we use video recording and analysis

– 1 private lesson any time
– 5 days of off-court fitness training, 1 hour every day (total 5 hours)
– this training is tennis specific and may include exercise in the gym or outdoor
– Social Tournament and BBQ on the last day of the camp (Saturday)

– there are two levels: beginners/intermediate and intermediate/advanced groups

– 5 days of off-court fitness training and stretching, 30 min every day (total 2.5 hours)
– this training is tennis specific and may include exercise in the gym or outdoor

Extra Activities

Only during full week and long weekend camps the tennis training is usually in the morning and during afternoons we organize trips and other activities for participants which they are invited to join. Some of the afternoon activities that we have organized are golf playing, sea caving, trekking, as well as cultural and nature exploration trips to visit interesting spots. Some of other extra activities to do in Barcelona are windsurfing, horse riding or a photography tour around Barcelona for those with a passion for photography. During the photography tour you will discover the most interesting spots for the best and original photos in Barcelona.

The Club

Our tennis club is located in a beautiful neighborhood, surrounded by the university campus and next to the worldwide known Football Club Barcelona. The Laietà Club features an area of 30,000 m2 including 15 clay tennis courts, 11 paddle tennis courts, 2 multi-sport outdoor courts, 1 indoor basketball court, 1 artificial grass football field, a 3-storey fitness center, a 25-meter outdoor swimming pool, restaurant, coffee-shop, 2 terraces, gardens and private parking.

During a tennis camp in Barcelona you will practice tennis on clay, eat great mediterranean food and make new tennis friends. Apart from tennis you can learn Spanish, practice other sports, such as windsurfing or golf, and also visiting and shopping in Barcelona.

When to go

Generally, high summer season lasts about six months, from May to October and is the most popular time to visit Barcelona. July and August are the warmest months, with average temperatures around 27–28 °C (81–82 °F) during the day and 20 °C (68 °F) at night. Daytime temperatures above 32 °C (90 °F) are rare. From June till August nine or ten hours of sunshine per day can be expected.

The wind is strong throughout the summer giving rise to waves that are quite large for the Mediterranean. These conditions have made water sports very popular. Sailing, windsurfing and surfing are all to be found on Barcelona’s seaside.

Low winter season in Barcelona starts usually in November and lasts until April. Winters are mild and the average temperature during the day ranges from 10 to 17 °C (50 to 63 °F). Only on about four days a year does the temperature fall below 10 °C (50 °F). Days in winter are not as short as in the northern part of the continent, the average hours of daylight in December, January and February is 10 hours. Moreover, in winter Barcelona has about three times more sun duration than in the northern half of Europe.

Barcelona is often used as a base from which to visit various ski resorts in the nearby mountains, the Pyrenees. The closest resorts are La Molina and La Masella which are around one and a half hour’s drive or train journey from the city. The ski season generally lasts from December till April, though some resorts open as early as November.

Camp Participants

In every camp we are a limited group of 8 like-minded tennis players and 2 tennis coaches. Most of our participants are between 20 and 45 years old and they come from different parts of the world.
